Eric Ishimwe

Five-year-old Eric was born to a single mother from an extremely poor family. He lives with his grandparents. His grandfather who is head of the family is blind.

Eric is enrolled at Kageno Nursery School where he receives a pre-primary education and two meals every school day. He is healthy, developing well, and highly engaged in school activities. Performing very well academically, Eric is known for his enthusiasm in the classroom. When he is not in class, he enjoys playing on the swings, climbing ladders, and playing football with his peers.
