Aime GAKURU IRAFASHA
Aime GAKURU IRAFASHA
Three-year-old Aime Gakuru and his twin brother recently lost their mother. They and their older brother now live with a relative because their father is unable to care for them.
When they were younger, the twins were admitted to Kageno’s Malnourished Feeding Program, where they received balanced meals three days a week. Their family also received SOSOMA and other food for home consumption.
Kageno Nursery School provides Aime with stability and consistency. Each school day, he receives two nourishing meals while learning to read, write, and count.
Despite these challenges, Aime is a smart, playful little boy who loves playing with toys.
Your donation is combined with other sponsors to ensure that the children of Banda Village have a meal when they come to school. Your donation also supports the education received by students within the Kageno school – supporting teachers’ salaries, school supplies, the maintenance of the school rooms, and all that is needed so children can focus on learning and parents and guardians know they are giving their children a good start.
