Anitha Mucyowimana

Five-year-old Anitha and her siblings live in a family with limited resources. Coming from a single-parent home, her mother struggles to earn an income for her family.

Anitha is enrolled at Kageno Nursery School where she is learning to read, pre-write, and count. There, she receives two meals daily. She is a cheerful and motivated student, who enjoys attending school. Most days, Anitha can be found playing on the swings and with toys.
