Freddy MUGISHA

Three-year-old Freddy lives with his single mother in a small rented home. She sometimes relies on casual agricultural work to provide for her son.

Freddy first came to Kageno through the Malnourished Feeding Program, where he received nutritious meals three days a week to help restore his health. His family also received a kitchen garden, chickens for eggs, and other nutritious foods to help provide healthy meals at home.

Freddy now attends Kageno Nursery School, where he is developing foundational skills in reading, writing, and counting. He continues to receive support through the Malnourished Feeding Program, in addition to two nourishing meals each school day, to help improve his health and nutrition.

Freddy is a playful little boy who loves playing with toys.
