Happy Ishimwe

Five-year-old Happy lives with his single mom and grandparents who have limited resources. He’s enrolled in Kageno Nursery School where he learns reading, prewriting, counting, and English.

Each day at school, Happy eats breakfast and lunch, which gives him the energy he needs to focus on his studies and thrive.

Since joining Kageno Nursery School, Happy has shown significant improvement in his speech and in his ability to care for himself. He is smart, quiet in class, and in good health. He enjoys playing with toys and interacting with other children.
