Abracadabra!

A magical incantation that was believed to have healing properties; but Abracadabra has its origins in centuries old cultures. Scholars of Hebrew and Aramaic etymology say that Abracadabra means “What I speak is what I create”. Our words have power – to create, to manifest, to heal, to enable communities to improve their lives and honor their environment. 

Kageno believes in the force of words like empowerment, and transformation.  We work to revive impoverished communities and the resulting transformation is quite magical. 

Kageno’s magic involves plans, actions, and methods of interacting with local communities in Rwanda and Kenya to improve education, health, and the environment, and build economic opportunities.

Unlike stage magic which will entertain you with impossible tricks and slights of hand, Kageno has been creating real magic and transformation for the last 18 years. We believe in the magic of our work, as they say Abracadabra or….as I speak I create.
