Meghan Loly ISHIMWE

Three-year-old Meghan lives with her grandparents after her single mother left the village. When she was younger, Meghan was admitted to Kageno’s Malnourished Feeding Program, where she received balanced meals three days a week. Her family also received SOSOMA and other food for home consumption.

Kageno recently provided the family with a kitchen garden and chickens to help provide nutritious food at home.

Meghan now attends Kageno Nursery School, where she receives a nutritious breakfast and lunch each school day while learning to read, write, and count.

Meghan is a sweet, playful little girl who loves pretending to cook.
